Competition Rules
♦ No driver will be permitted to pass another until thy have passed the starting line or cone or there will be a restart. If this occurs twice by the same driver, that individual will restart in the rear of the field.
♦ The finish line is at the flaggers stand.
♦ If you jump the start or restart of the race before the green flag, you will be sent to the rear.
♦ You must use Burris tires in both the heat and the feature to receive your awards.
♦ Anyone caught will not receive the night's awards or points.
♦ You must be racing on Burris tires to be eligible to win a championship. Also, you must race in at least 50% or more of the season in order to be eligible for the championship.
♦ Points for the season will begin the second week of April.
♦ Scoring goes back to the last completed lap.
♦ If a competitor brings out a caution three times, they will be disqualified for that race.
♦ After the first full lap is completed, any restarts will be done in single file. Any competitor involved in an accident, bringing out a caution flag will restart in the rear of the field regardless of who is at fault.
♦ No slingshot maneuvers are allowed on single-file restarts.
♦ If your kart stalls before the green flag is thrown, one person may help restart it.
♦ When a red flag is thrown, safely come to a stop, shut off your engine and stay with your kart.
♦ If you do not sign up for the correct class, you will start in the rear of the field.
♦ If a competitor loses a tech item on the track in competition, they will be disqualified for that race.
♦ If a competitor loses a tech item or is found illegal to run without it, they will be disqualified.
♦ After each heat and feature race, all karts must be weighed.
♦ If a kart loses any piece of equipment necessary for safety, it will not be allowed to join the race until the problem is properly fixed.
♦ Lapped Karts - Driver about to be lapped by faster competitors are responsible for being aware of the approaching faster karts and must yield and move to the outside of the track until the faster karts have passed. Lapped karts will observe the blue/yellow flag or being moved by a corner person (which indicates the driver must move to the outside barrier) or risk disqualification.
♦ All drivers are responsible for being in their position when entering the track to race, anyone not in their position will start in the rear of the field.
♦ No repairs allowed on the track.
♦ Heat race line-up will be determined by number drawn at sign in.
♦ Feature line-up will be determined by the heat race finishes.
♦ Drivers are responsible for their pit crew members. Unacceptable behavior will result in disqualification of the driver.
♦ Unsportsmanlike behavior after the checkered flag will result in a disqualification.
♦ There is a three minute grace period in which to get your kart on the track after your class begins to enter for racing activities.
♦ Arguing with ANY race official or management is grounds for automatic disqualification.
ROUGH RIDING, BLOCKING AND PUSHING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
